We all look for ways to relax and improve our mood. This invariably includes going to the gym, riding a bike, walking the dog and a yoga class. Did you ever imagine that live music is better for you than yoga?

A recent study concluded that attending a live concert improves your mood greater than activities such as walking the dog or attending a yoga class. Concert goers reported a 21 percent boost in their mood, while people who attended yoga classes had a 10 percent boost, dog walkers reported a mere 7 percent increase.
Better health and a longer life span are often linked to and increased feeling of wellness. Perhaps the answer is to attend concerts as well as taking music lessons and going to the gym!
